In order to select exact filter bag for baghouses, there’re characteristics need to know about the facility, such as dust load, dust poperties, operation temperature, tubsheet hole size, air volume, filtration area, etc.
Filter bags fabrics are including polyester, acrylic, PPS, aramid, fiberglass, PTFE. PTFE membrane is a special treatment where a thin, porous membrane is bonded to the scrim or support fabric. It’s developed in an effort to achieve high efficiency particle capture and to handle flue gas conditions where high moisture resulting high pressue drop problems frequently occur.
